Cao Xiao Hua

His research has long focused on the developmental neural mechanisms of Chinese character learning, and he has successfully completed four national-level projects in this area. He has published over 30 high-quality papers in domestic and international journals such as Acta Psychologica Sinica and Neuroscience, including more than 20 papers indexed in SSCI and two in Acta Psychologica Sinica. His paper on the neural mechanisms of children's Chinese character cognition was highly recommended by Professor Behrmann, a member of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States at Carnegie Mellon University, to the Faculty of 1000 (F1000) — a recognition that signifies high scholarly impact. This work has been widely reported by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other institutions, and his related achievements have received multiple provincial and ministerial-level awards. He has been supported under the Second Level of the Zhejiang Provincial 151 Talent Project, recognized as a Zhejiang Provincial "14th Five-Year Plan" Expert in Philosophy and Social Sciences, named an Innovative Leading Talent in Zhejiang Higher Education Institutions, and serves as the leader of a High-Level Innovative Team in Zhejiang Higher Education Institutions. He was also honored with the title of Outstanding Teacher of Zhejiang Higher Education Institutions in 2018. He holds the following academic affiliations: Deputy Director of the Psychology of Language Committee of the Chinese Psychological Society, and Member of the Physiological Psychology Committee of the Chinese Psychological Society.
