Professor He Guoqing's main research areas are the history of education in Europe and America and the history of higher education abroad. His representative works include *The Influence of Modern Europe on American Education*, *The Development History of Universities in Germany and the United States*, *The History of Higher Education Abroad*, and *A General History of Vocational Education Abroad*. His research achievements have won numerous awards, including the First Prize of the Sixth National Outstanding Achievement Award in Educational Science Research (achieving a breakthrough for Ningbo University in winning this award), the Third Prize of the Second Outstanding Achievement Award in Humanities and Social Sciences from the Ministry of Education, the Second Prize of the Second National Outstanding Achievement Award in Educational Science, the First Prize of the Seventh and Ninth Outstanding Achievement Awards in Social Sciences from Hebei Province, and the First Prize of the Eighteenth Social Science Award from Zhejiang Province. His book, *The History of Higher Education Abroad*, has been selected by the Ministry of Education as a "National Postgraduate Textbook." He has published over 60 papers in journals such as *Educational Research*, *Higher Education Research*, and *Comparative Education Research*, many of which have been reprinted in *Chinese Social Sciences Digest*, *Xinhua Digest*, and *Renmin University of China Press*.
