Her representative work is *The Rise of the Elite Group in American Education*. She has co-authored several books, including *A History of American Higher Education* (Volumes 2 and 3) and *A History of American Educational Thought*. She has led and participated in numerous research projects, including one national-level project, one provincial/ministerial-level project, and one municipal/departmental-level project; and participated in several national and provincial/ministerial-level projects. She has published over 20 papers in journals such as *Educational Research*, *Higher Education Research*, *Comparative Education Research*, *Journal of Educational Studies*, and *Tsinghua University Educational Research*, with many papers reprinted in *Renmin University of China Press*.
