He has presided over more than 40 research projects, including one major research project in philosophy and social sciences funded by the Ministry of Education, four projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, and six projects funded by the Ministry of Education and provincial philosophy and social sciences departments. He has published more than 100 papers in journals such as *Educational Research*, and his work has been excerpted or reprinted in *Xinhua Digest*, *Chinese Social Sciences Digest*, and *Renmin University of China Press*. He has authored four monographs and edited two. His achievements have won one first prize (ranked 6th) and one Youth Achievement Award in the Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award (Humanities and Social Sciences), one second prize and one third prize in the Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Philosophy and Social Sciences Achievement Award, and one first prize in the Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Educational Science Achievement Award.
