He presided over 2 projects of the National Social Science Foundation and 2 provincial and ministerial projects; published a number of monographs in Renmin University of China Press, East China Normal University Press and Zhejiang University Press, and successively edited the "A Book to Understand the World Educator Series" and "Research and Improvement Series for Primary and Secondary Schools"; he published more than 50 papers in "Research on Education Development", "Journal of East China Normal University" (Educational Science Edition), "Research on Teacher Education", "Global Education Outlook", "China Education Journal", etc., and many papers were reprinted in full text of "Pedagogy", "Primary and Secondary Education" and Primary School Language Teaching and Learning" by the National People's Congress; won the second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award for Basic Education (ranked second).
